Black Friday. The one day out of the year where you contemplate what the hell happened to humanity.

It’s scenes like this from Walmart that cause me to wonder whether or not people from other countries watch this and think to themselves, “Americans.” That’s all. Just…”Americans.”

Here are some more things that happened today:

• Gawker composed together the craziest videos of Black Friday that all seemed to happen at Walmart.
• Here’s a video of hundreds of girls piling into a Victoria’s Secret. But also, look at the despondent boyfriends. LOOK AT THEM.
• A man is accused of leaving his two year old in the car to buy a 51 inch TV and forgets to go back for his kid.
• Don’t cut in line, lest you get a gun pulled on you.
• If you do happen to venture out into the shopping world today, maybe pass out some of these inspirational cards to retail employees?

You know, all of these stories and videos are just a little bit depressing. Let’s take solace in the fact that, hey, at least no one has died this year!
