    Catnip works on humans too. I used to grow it alongside my basil, oregano. cilantro and whatnot.
    You can make some very tasty tea out of it, or smoke it. It gives you a really intense, but short high. No shit.

      i used to buy a bottled herbal tea in Japan that had catnip in it. Very tasty, but i never felt any kind of chemical reaction to it …. though i don’t get any kind of reaction to other ‘herbal ingredients’ either.

    Many herbal teas contain catnip. My older cat would raid the pantry for tea to the point I had to keep in the liquor cabinet.

    My own cat never had a thing for catnip. I bought it once, he sniffed it for like 3 seconds and walked away.

    And here I was ready for a cat that desired takeaway pizza and the Playboy channel.

      Only about half of cats are affected by catnip. I have one that goes crazy for it and one that couldn’t care less.
