This 25 minute long practical training guide will teach anyone planning on going to Minnesota the language of the very foreign land they’re about to enter. It was produced and aired by Twin Cities Public Television in 1992, so you know that it’s totally legit. Made by real Minnesotans to teach non-Minnesotans the proper dialect.

      Whatever. You get a mixed bag up here. We elected Al Franken to congress, and Jesse Ventura as Governer, but we also have Michelle Bachman and Walter Mondale. We gave you Prince, Judy Garland, Bob Dylan, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Richard Dean Anderson, Mary Tyler Moore, Peter Graves. the Coen Bros, John Madden and Charles Shultz, but also Kevin Sorbo, Loni Anderson, Tammy Faye Bakker, and Winnona Ryder. We had the first fully enclosed shopping mall, are the home of Target, General Mills, 3M and Medtronic, but we are also partially responsible for “Yanni”.

      In short, you are very welcome, and we are very sorry. Could be worse.

          We also have Rush, Nomeansno, Drake, Deadmau5 etc… Perhaps the problem is with the Canadian Music Americans like. Also all your comedians ya they are from Canada.

        Not to mention the first indoor mall on steroids in the US. Thus helping to ensure, should it ever be necessary, that we’d be able to secede to Canada with little difficulty. South Manitoba, eh?
