Dashboard cameras are a fairly prevalent thing in Russia because of insurance fraud and police corruption, making the footage from these cams extremely helpful in certain situations. This is a compilation of some of the most insane and cringe-inducing footage ever captured on those dash-cams.

I don’t know what it is about grown men fist-fighting, but I just need to know: Why do they always take their shirts off? It just looks so ridiculous.

Warning: if you don’t like car crashes, don’t watch. None of the accidents resulted in fatalities…but still. Just wanted to give a heads up. But you should definitely still skip to 1:29 to see something pretty head-scratch worthy. It stops around 1:39.

    Most of the time the shirt comes off because the other guy grabs it to either pull you off-balance or get you close enough that you can’t swing properly, leading to a knee to the junk or a trip. Once the shirt rips, you never know when it will be grabbed so sometimes it’s easier to doff it than risk being jersey-ed or otherwise manipulated.

    My favorite is at 1:22. You can’t tell from the clip in this video what happens, but basically 2 people back up into the guy behind them, get out of their car, act like he was at fault, the guy points to his dash-cam, they become visibly upset and get back into their car.

    One would think that everyone in Russia has a dash-cam is because when someone hits you the chance that the police do anything about it are slim. Better if you have the tape and then get a payoff outside of a court.
