BBC, you have some of the best shows. Seriously, even though this concept has been done before (anyone seen Fido?), this is an entirely different take on it. Zombies (or, as they say on the show, Partially Deceased Syndrome sufferer) who can be rehabilitated, without the use of mind-control technology, and then reintegrated into society? Director Jonny Campbell (Doctor Who, Ashes to Ashes), says that the show will not take itself too seriously and that it will go back and forth between profound moments and dryly comedic ones. The three-part, one hour long episodes will air on March 17.
All I can say is that it looks fantastic and I sincerely hope it comes stateside. If it doesn’t, well, I won’t be held accountable for my actions then.
