Last night during the 12-12-12- Hurricane Sandy Benefit at Madison Square Garden, Adam Sandler took the stage and sang a parodied version of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” to the thousands of people who gathered to show support for the televised relief effort.
Other artists who also performed include:
Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, The Who (lead singer Roger Daltrey dropped a big ol’ F-Bomb), and Paul McCartney, who fronted a reunited Nirvana with a new song “Cut Me Some Slack.”
Also starring Kanye West, who, for some odd reason, decided that a benefit show would be the perfect time to debut his brand new leather skirt.
